Hanging Light fittings and chandeliers

We hang a lot of light fittings and chandeliers in Wallington and Carshalton.  A lot of the period houses in these areas have high ceilings which lend themselves nicely to a large chandelier.  One of the most common questions is ‘How much weight will the ceiling take?’.  The answer is that each ceiling is different and we would recommend you get your electrician to take a look at your ceiling and see if it is strong enough for the light fitting you would like.  Lights can be drilled into joists and ceilings can be strengthened with struts/batons so with a little bit of work you could have the ‘statement’ chandelier you desire!

All the best
